ABOUT
The Cassiobury Triangle Residents’ Association (CTRA) was originally formed in 1990s to prevent unwanted housing over-development. Since then we have grown to incorporate neighbouring roads and developed a residents’ association to support members concerning issues in our local community. We are a team of road steward volunteers who meet with local councillors on a bi-monthly basis to discuss issues raised by our members. We also host an Annual General Meeting (AGM) for all members to attend in March of each year.
Recent activity includes working with the Councillors to implement traffic management measures during the annual fireworks event, replacing outdated neighbourhood watch signs on all our roads, leading the charge on the 20 mph speed limit on our roads and much more.
MEMBERSHIP
All residents are eligible to become members of the Cassiobury Triangle Residents’ Association and benefit from their views being represented across the town and borough.
For 2026 Membership fees will be just £2 a year, and your CTRA road steward representee will collect the fees from your doors from February. Note that historically collections were done in the summer for the current year but from 2026 we will move all collections to be done earlier.
Once the £2 membership has been received, your Membership Card will be posted through your door. this entitles you to attend and vote at the AGM.
CTRA ROAD STEWARDS
Our road stewards are a key part of our organisation. They act as main points of contacts for any issues members are facing in the local area and can represent their members at CTRA regular meetings. Road stewards also are responsible for distributing information (AGM material, newsletter) and collecting membership fees from residents on their section of road.
We are always looking for additional road stewards and our current numbers are below:
Cassiobury Park Avenue x 3
Gade Ave x 2
Swiss Ave x 1
Shepherds Rd x 1
Queen Mary’s Ave x 1
The Chase x 2
NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH
There is an active Neighbourhood Watch scheme operating in the CTRA areas. We would love for all of our members to register and place the sticker in their windows to alert others that we have a strong watch presence on our streets. https://www.ourwatch.org.uk
